Picking the right career
What previous graduates say
  • As a mature age graduate I have found the Auditor-General’s Department a great place to work and I highly recommend it for those wishing to commence or further develop a career in auditing. From my experience, they treat their employees fairly, irrespective of background or age. The training and induction program is first class with group sessions being held extensively in the first few months. This is a great way to share learning experiences with other graduates

  • For anyone considering a career in audit and assurance I cannot think of a better place to pursue such a career than the Auditor-General's Department. As South Australia's largest external auditing body, the Auditor-General's Department has given me exposure to some very large audit clients, presenting me some very challenging and interesting audits. Along the way, I have been provided with extensive support through technical and interpersonal training, and guidance from some very talented professional mentors. Another great thing about the Auditor-General's is that you are free to study either the CPA or Chartered Accountants Program. This adds to the diversity and appeal of the Department
