Update to the annual report for the year ended 30 June 2024 – Department for Infrastructure and Transport

On 30 September 2024 I delivered my annual report for the year ended 30 June 2024 to the Parliament. In it, I advised that we had only just received material information needed to complete the 2023-24 audit of the Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).  I also advised that our commentary on DIT’s audited financial report for the year ended 30 June 2024 would be provided in a separate report to Parliament once the audit was completed.

The DIT audit is now complete and this report provides that commentary.
